The New Public Holiday

After having a pretty tiresome and full weekend, a Thaipusam break on this coming Wednesday adalah sangat dialu-alukan.

FINALLY depa ni buleh pikiaq that the festivity that would usually hamper the traffic flow in the City Center calls for a Public Holiday given to that particular day in KL itself.

For the uninitiated, KL has never had a Public Holiday for Thaipusam eventhough the perarakan tu kebanyakan besarnya bermula dari KL areas.

Masa aku kerja kat Desa Petaling dulu, for six years aku bitter gila ~ 200m from the office was Sri Petaling, which is dalam Jajahan Selangor. Depa cuti Thaipusam walaupun tak perlu lalu any traffic snarls. Kami yang tak cuti ni, business is as usual ~ running around in KL meeting clients and authorities and trapped dalam traffic-jam perayaan. Bengaaaang siut.

And now... finally!

Ni yang buat aku nak vote for BN this coming GE ni!

Z A S S S S S S S ! ! ! ! !

UK boring... no public hols except for easter, Christmas and New years....Other religeous and cultural holidays must fall under 'Bank Holiday'... so not multi cultural!
